Nourish Our Neighbors: Food & Essentials Drive

Help families right here at home by donating non-perishable food and essential household items. Every can, every box, & every bottle makes a real difference for our community. Drop off bins are located in our lobby during regular hours.

No Joiner's Fee Week

Start your Y journey for $0 - and find your feel-good-again place! From group exercise and family activities to swim lessons and open gym, the Y has you covered. Join between December 15-19 and we'll waive your joining fee. 

Enjoy free group fitness classes, affordable family programs, and unlimited access to both YMCA branches.

Learn to Swim at the Y - Session 1 Swim Lessons Now Open!

Make a splash this winter! Our swim lessons help kids build water confidence, learn lifesaving skills, and have fun along the way. With caring, certified instructors and small class ratios, every swimmer gets the attention they deserve.

Programs are available for all ages - from Water Discovery for little ones (6 mons. - 3yrs.) to advanced levels that teach strokes, endurance, and safety techniques. Private and semi-private lessons are also available for children, teens, and adults.

Session Dates: January 6 - March 14 |$92 Members | $112 Non-members

LiveStrong at the YMCA

February 2 - April 22

Reclaim your energy and your power! This 12-week FREE wellness program is designed for adults who are cancer survivors or currently in treatment. 

Classes meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM. Registration is OPEN, but closes on January 15th with a limit of 6 participants per session.

Winter Break Camp (Ages 3-12) 

December 22, 23, 29, & 30, and January 2

School's out and adventure is in! Winter Break Camp brings full days of crafts, grams, gym time, swimming, and new friends - perfect for keeping kids active, social, and having fun while you're at work.

3-day & 5-day options available. Snacks will be provided but campers need to bring their own lunch.

2026 Youth Basketball League (Ages 4 - 11)

Our next session of Youth Basketball is right around the corner, and it's the perfect way to keep kids active, confident, and having fun this winter & spring. Open to ages 4 - 11, this league combines skill-building practices with Saturday games in a supportive team environment.

Players will learn the fundamentals, make new friends, and grow their love for the game - plus score is kept for older divisions, and the season wraps up with an exciting end-of-season tournament.

Practices begin the week of January 19th, with games held on Saturdays from January 31st through March 7th. The registration deadline is January 8th, and all coaches are invited to attend the coaches meeting on January 13th at 6 PM. The cost is $45 for YMCA members and $65 for non-members.

Lifeguard Certification Training 

January 9, 10, & 11

Learn essential lifesaving skills - and open the door to future employment opportunities! This American Red Cross course includes deep water rescue, CPR/AED, and first aid training. Free for current YMCA staff and new hires, and $70 for public registration.

HealthConnect FreshStart

Session 1 begins January 5

Ready for a reset? FreshStart is a 10-week healthy lifestyle program offered in partnership with Decatur County Memorial Hospital - designed to help you build sustainable habits through education, movement, and supportive accountability!

Led by DCMH Registered Dietitians, participants gain energy, improve heart health, and build confidence through guided wellness classes, goal-setting, and YMCA access 3x a week.

Classes: Wednesdays, 5-6 PM at HealthConnect (attached to the YMCA)

Optional Training Add-On: Small-group sessions Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:30 - 6 PM at the YMCA.
